These animals are one of the two species of all-white, hoofed, large mammals found in Alaska. Long hairs on the legs give the animal the appearance of wearing bloomers. A shaggy crop of hair hangs down from the chin and lower jaw of the animal. Searching for the goat, mountain-rocky areas are best to obtain pictures of them and possibly if you are lucky a baby.
