The Mountain Goat
The mountain goat baby is very small in photos.
In appearance, these are blunt, squarish-looking animal that has a narrow head with slender, black, shiny horns. The animal’s coat is white and on the chin is a double beard of long hair. The horns are rising in a backward curve to a length of 10-12 inches.

In Alaska, these animals are found throughout the southeastern Panhandle and continue north and west. The range of these animals is restricted to the steep and broken mountain ranges of northwestern North America and extends naturally from Idaho and Washington to South central Alaska. The mountain goat baby is very small in photos.
